The Tomorrows Project is funded by The Big Lottery's ' Reaching Communities' funding stream with an overall purpose to support people to maintain their independence. The project provides a range of low level support to help people who are over 50 years of age growing older with a Learning Disability or Difficulty living in North Tyneside. With a user-led personalised and holistic approach, our dedicated staff and team of volunteers offer support to people to improve levels of confidence, self esteem and skills. Through the support that Tomorrows offer, people will gain a better understanding on how to improve their own health and well-being. Engagement through the project will also provide people with the opportunity to improve their social networks by taking part in leisure and learning activities. The Tomorrows Project support people to feel safe in their community to report Hate Crime and reduce exploitation and abuse.
