Age UK North Tyneside Telephone befriending is there to offer you a friendly chat over the phone a couple of times a week. We can match you with one of our volunteers who will phone you twice a week at a fixed time, and we will do our best to make sure that's the same person each time so you can grow a real friendship. If you are aged 50 and over, Age UK offer free, confidential and impartial advice to customers and their families on matters such as:- Home and care, Health and well-being, Money, Employment, Welfare benefits.....and much more. Appointments are available for telephone advice, home visits and face to face consultations with our Information and Advice teams. You can drop in to Bradbury Centre Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm to book an appointment with us.Or you can telephone us on 0191 280 8484. This service is completely FREE and we have a trained staff and volunteers.
